- Stiffness and pain with prolonged inactivity
Advice
- Try not to cross legs as this can put pressure on hip and the muscles on the side of the hip

- Pop a pillow in between your legs when lying on the side.
Exercises
– Hip capsule Stretch
- Get a resistance band, a blue band is recommended.
- Lay down and put the band on top of the thigh and put the other end on a stable non moving object
- Bring the leg up and hold it for 20 seconds
- Do the same for the other hip if required
– Hip Flexor Stretch
- Sit right on the edge of a bed
- Bring up one knee and lean backwards until you are lying down
- Make sure to keep the back flat and knee bent
- Hold for 15 seconds
- Change sides and bring the other knee up
