Mindfulness with Michelle
Having found the practise of meditation and mindfulness for many years personally helpful in managing and navigating through the ups and downs of life, I wanted to be able to share these practises with others…fast forward I went on to complete the mindfulness teacher training with the Sussex Mindfulness Centre in 2024.
I enjoy integrating aspects of mindfulness into my clinical work as a mental health nurse where it is helpful, and am trained to run the eight-week mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT) course.
I believe we all have the ability to heal and to thrive, and meditation and mindfulness are tools we can use to help us.
When we learn to live more mindfully we can take better care of ourselves and others.
When I’m not working, I’m busy being a Mum to my daughter and son; I enjoy walks outdoors, and love a good cup of coffee, amongst other things!
I am pleased to now offer mindfulness drop-in sessions, suitable for beginners and regular mindfulness practitioners.
My teaching style is simple and compassionate, offering a safe and welcome space, where you can let go and allow yourself to just be.
Expect a mix of sitting, lying down, and mindful movement practices.
