ADVANCED PHYSIOTHERAPY CLINICAL PRACTITIONER & MSK SONOGRAPHER

Lee is a Chartered MSK Physiotherapist with fifteen years of experience in the assessment, treatment and management of Musculoskeletal conditions. Following a twelve-year tenure managing a diverse range of complex conditions within the NHS, in 2023 Lee relocated to the Channel Islands where he worked more locally with high level athletes and sports performers to assess and rehabilitate them in line with performance aspirations. Within this clinical setting, they offered a substantial level of musculoskeletal imaging including MRI, CT and Ultrasound therefore meant he was working closely with radiologists and Orthopaedic consultants. Here Lee completed a postgraduate certificate in MSK Sonography which has added significantly to his clinical assessment skills.

Lee approachs his clinical practice in an ‘Evidence Based’ manner utilising a combination of hands on, exercise therapy and educational methods. Lee’s clinical practise takes into consideration what current research suggests around the area of MSK health, but he also endeavours to approach individual client care from a ‘patient centred’ perspective. This therefore is not about ‘what he can do to you’ but will involve some discussions about how you see care evolving and what specific goals you would like to achieve from Physiotherapy. This collaborative approach has time after time demonstrated to be most effective to overcome a multitude of particularly stubborn pain syndromes.

Outside of Lee’s professional life, He is first and foremost, a father to his infant son. Alongside this he really enjoys leading an active and healthy lifestyle (as much as able!) having played Basketball to a national and international level in his teens. Nowadays this will include routine gym sessions, road cycling and picking up a Basketball. Lee is also a level 4 qualified Strength & Conditioning Coach.
