Slow Mindful Yoga with Anneliese Wells

Anneliese Wells is often described as gentle, calm and kind; values that led her to become not just a Yoga teacher but also a Yoga Therapist specialising in stress management. Together with certification to teach Mindfulness through Yoga, Anneliese combines her knowledge to create Slow Mindful Yoga classes that cultivate strength and flexibility of body AND mind. Anneliese believes in treating every student as an individual; she encourages you to listen to the signals of your body and mind and to practice with self compassion. 


She vehemently believes that is is possible to get stronger whilst being kind to yourself. Her classes are planned to include mindful awareness of movement, breath and your relationship to gravity as well as your mental attitude. Through a weekly practice of Slow, Mindful Yoga, you become present, self aware and self compassionate and skilled with tools you can take off the mat and into your daily life.

Yoga Therapy for the Mind and Mindfulness in Yoga enabled Anneliese to teach an eight week course entitled De-Stress Your Mid-life that has been designed specifically for women who may be challenged by all that midlife throws at them. One to one Yoga can also be arranged for those wishing to enhance their practice or requiring more support. 

Anneliese believes that commitment to a weekly 75 minute class is the best way to cultivate the changes desired and to maintain the mind and body we deserve; better still, a regular home practice which is why she is happy to share her lesson plans with her students. She believes that small classes offer the greatest reward to her students and her prices reflect this:
